QR stickers on your bikes
Every bike at a self-service shop has its own QR sticker on its OBU. Riders scan it to start and end their rental, so each booking records the exact bike.
How it works:
GoRent provides a heavy-duty, weatherproof sticker for each bike, pasted on its OBU, the small unit near the handlebars. Each code belongs to one bike only. Riders can’t type the plate instead, so every sticker needs to stay on, clean and easy to see.
Where the sticker is
1. Each bike’s sticker sits on its OBU. Riders see this picture in the GoRent app.

2. Riders scan it to start and end a rental. The app checks it’s the bike they booked.
Check a sticker with GoRent Partner
1. Tap ‘Scan’ and point your camera at the bike’s sticker.
2. The bike’s booking opens: the one it’s out on, or its next one.
A clean, dry sticker scans first time, even at night: riders have a torch button on the scanner.

Questions
A sticker is torn, faded or peeling off
Message us on WhatsApp. We give the bike a new code and send you a new sticker. The old sticker stops working.
Can I print a sticker myself?
Yes, if you need one before ours arrives. In the vendor portal, go to Fleet, then QR stickers. Pick the bike, tap Print, cut the sticker out about 1 mm outside the purple frame, and paste it as shown in ‘Where to paste the QR sticker’. Don’t tap ‘New code’ unless the old sticker is gone: a new code stops the old sticker working.
Can I move a sticker to another bike?
No. Each code belongs to one bike, so a sticker on another bike won’t start that bike’s rental.
I’ve added a new bike
Message us and we’ll send its sticker. You can print one from the vendor portal in the meantime.

The bike’s On-Board Unit for ERP: the small box near the handlebars.
